Weekend Report
Saturday’s fishing was terrible. No sugarcoating involved. It was just bad. We had a hard east wind with rain that made the day miserable and the fluking lackluster. Sunday was somewhat of a bounce back day. We caught a good number of keepers and had a steady pick of fish for most of the day. We have an east wind again today, but we will see if we can get them going like yesterday.

Location: Raritan Bay
Tide: Low 12:13pm
Water Temp: 78.8°
Wind: E 6kts
Moon Phase: 91% Full
Conditions
East wind again blowing around 8 kts will be up against an outgoing tide. We are going to get set up where we had our most success yesterday and let it roll.
July Flukemaster Update
Only 2 days left to win the monthly pool. Anthony Rullo has had the lead for the majority of the month with a 6lb 8oz fish. The pot is $560.00
First Drift
We moved 15 feet for the entire drift, and caught a few shorts with some sea robins mixed in.
Second Drift
Sharkfest! We were like Frank Mundus hunting the great white. . . Moving into Ambrose for the next one.
Third Drift
Super duper fireball fishing!!!! We beat them up for two hours and threw some very nice keepers in the coolers!
Fourth Drift
We beat them up again. Excellent fishing again on this one. Running up to do it again.
As of late, when I give up on a report, it typically means that the fishing fell apart. Today that was not the case. We had super fluking for the majority of the day in Ambrose. There were moments with 5 to 7 fish on at a time. Hopefully the conditions will allow us to get set up the same way tomorrow!!
