Pool Rules

1. The entry fee is $10.00 for each month, June, July, and August, and a $5.00 one time buy in for the seasonal pool. You must name the month/months you are entering into at the time of payment.
2. The prize money for the monthly pools will consist of 100% of all money collected for each specific month. The prize money for the seasonal pool will be 100% of all money collected for the seasonal pool.
3. All eligible fluke must be weighed by the official boat scale or another method approved by the captain.
4. Only 1 rod per angler. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! The use of a second rod is terms for immediate disqualification.
5. Crew members and family of The Captain John are not eligible for The Flukemaster Classic.
6. Evidence of tampering will subject a fish to dissection, and upon verification of tampering, disqualify the entrant from all present and subsequent pools.
7. Contestants may only re-weigh a fluke at the mates discretion.
8. Prizes for the monthly pool will be finalized and awarded at the end of the trip, on the last day of the months of June, July, and August. The prize for the seasonal pool will be awarded at the end of the trip on September 4, 2009.
9. Captain John reserves the power to exercise judgment in the best interest of a fair and equitable derby.
10. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be split equally and awarded to both contestants.
